You just bought a box
Battle Academy or two theme decks, six prizes, one Energy a turn. Boosters are dessert.
Do not build 60 from a single booster box. You will be missing Energy and Supporters. Use Battle Academy, two theme decks, or a League Battle deck.
Set six Prizes every game, even at the kitchen table. The win condition is the prizes, not “we play until we get bored.”
Say the checklist: draw, play a Basic, evolve, attach one Energy, one Supporter, Items, retreat, attack. The official video is four minutes.
Illustration rares are pretty. They do not play differently. Sleeve the cheap line and keep the chase in a binder.
